94% Undensified Microsilica (Silica Fume) 94U
94% Fumée de silice non densifiée (94U) is a highly effective supplementary cementitious material derived from the byproduct of silicon and ferrosilicon alloy production. It contains approximately 94% amorphous silica (SiO2) and possesses exceptional physical and chemical properties that make it a valuable addition to various construction materials, especially concrete and cement-based products.
With a low bulk density ranging from 250 à 350 kg/m3, 94% Undensified Silica Fume is lightweight and easy to handle, resulting in reduced transportation costs. Its specific surface area, typically between 15,000 and 30,000 m2/kg, allows for a high pozzolanic reactivity that enhances the mechanical and durability properties of the final products.
